Denys & Oleksandr’s story
Hello. We are a family of four – a gay couple with a sister and mom – with four wonderful animals. We left Ukraine on March 3 because of the war and literally fled under the air defense explosions and the sounds of sirens. Now we are in Romania, in Bucharest.
We recently received visas to Canada and it's time for us to fly out one of these days. But two weeks ago, when we first arrived, we bought tickets to Canada via London with our last money (we were in a state of shock and didn’t know what and how). Unfortunately, we were not allowed on a flight to London because of the animals. And we lost $4000.
Now all our documents are in order but we have no money 😔
